Dakis Technologies LTD. ("we", "us", "our") operates Dakis Sites, the website builder platform available at dakis.site (with the editor at sites.dakis.tech). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email address, password) and when building your website (text, images, business details). We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, actions taken) to improve the product.

We use your data to provide and improve the Dakis service, send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, receipts), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data to third parties.

We use only strictly necessary cookies — to keep you signed in and to protect your session (security). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, which is why we show a short notice rather than a consent banner on your first visit.

Your data is stored with the service providers listed in section 7. Images you upload are stored on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We retain your data for as long as your account is active; when you delete your account, your data is erased immediately, and residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can download a full copy of your data and delete your account yourself from the editor under Account settings → Privacy — or contact us at info@dakis.tech.

We do not sell your data. We rely on the following service providers to operate the platform, each governed by its own privacy policy and a data processing agreement:

• Vercel Inc. (USA) — website hosting and content delivery; request logs include your IP address.
• Neon Inc. (USA) — database hosting; stores your account and site content.
• Cloudflare Inc. (USA) — image storage (R2) and CDN, plus Turnstile bot protection on signup and contact forms.
• Backblaze Inc. (USA) — off-site backup storage for uploaded images.
• Stripe Inc. (USA) — payment processing and invoicing.
• Resend Inc. (USA) — transactional email delivery.
• OpenAI LLC (USA) — automated content-safety screening of text and images you submit.
• Upstash Inc. (USA) — request rate limiting to protect against abuse; processes IP addresses.
• Functional Software Inc. (Sentry) (USA) — error monitoring; receives technical data such as IP address and browser details when a technical error occurs.

Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice in the editor.
