By creating an account or using Dakis Sites, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Dakis Technologies LTD. ("Dakis", "we", "us") operates Dakis Sites, a website builder platform that lets you create and publish websites for your business. We offer Standard (free) and Pro plans with different features and page limits as described on our pricing page.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One account may manage one brand (website). You must not share your account with others.
You may not use Dakis to create, upload, or publish content that is illegal, infringes third-party intellectual property or other rights, is defamatory or deceptive (including spam and phishing), or otherwise violates applicable law. You are solely responsible for the content you publish, and we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on Dakis. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate the service and deliver your website to its visitors.
You warrant that you own, or have all rights, licences, and permissions necessary to upload and publish, the content you provide, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or breach any law. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dakis and its operators against any claim, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of content you upload, publish, or distribute through the service.
Dakis Sites is a hosting service. If you believe that content on a website hosted by Dakis is illegal or infringes your rights, notify us at info@dakis.tech with: (a) the URL(s) concerned; (b) a description of the content and an explanation of why it is unlawful or infringing; and (c) your name and contact details.
Upon receiving a sufficiently substantiated notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the content and, where required, provide the user who posted it with a statement of reasons for our decision. We may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly publish illegal or infringing content. This process operates without prejudice to our other rights and to the protections available to hosting providers under applicable law.
Pro plans are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you purchase as a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal; at checkout you expressly request that the service begins immediately and acknowledge that you lose this right once performance has begun. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms, including where you repeatedly publish illegal or infringing content as described in section 6. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your published website will be taken offline.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dakis is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice in the editor, and you may be asked to accept the updated terms before continuing to use the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
